e-Home Service is the licensed owner of the brand and the registered trademark e-Home Service and the domain www.eHomeService.co.in, subsequently referred to as ‘The Site’ or ‘The Website’ or ‘‘The App’ or ‘The Online Platform’. e-Home Service (also eHome Service ), subsequently referred to as ‘The company’ or ‘EHS’.

The company respects your privacy and values the trust you place in it. This Privacy Policy provides insights in a brief manner on the way your data is obtained and used by the company. All visitors to the site are advised to read and understand the Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing the Website/App, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, storage and use of information relating to you as provided herein. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy, including in relation to the manner of collection or use of your information, please do not use or access the Website /App. This document is applicable to every registered user of the Website/App including Service Consumer, Service Provider (Registered Offline by Surveyors, Registered Online himself, Registered Online by Registration Agents), Registration Agents, Team leaders of Registration Agents, Franchise of the Company.

Collection, Storage and Use of Information Related to You

As part of the registration process on the Site/App, e-Home Service will collect the following personal information about you: full name, complete address, email address, mobile phone number, Gender, Date of Birth and City. The company will also ask for your Photograph, Aadhar Card, the documentary, any other Identity / Address Proof of the information provided by you. It is assumed that all the information provided by you on the Website/App and/or Online/Offline Survey Form for the purpose of registration is true and correct to the best of your knowledge.

Some information may also be provided by you through Offline Survey Form or On-line Surveys Forms or Online Registration Process of e-Home Service like Date of Birth / Age, Preferred Work Area, Occupation or Services Offered by Service Provider, Availability Day and Time, Experience, Physical Disability, About me etc. The company will keep backup of all these information of all registered users in all cases (Approved / Dis-approved, Verified, Not Verified, Active, Deactivated Users).

The Website may contain links to other Web sites and you may visit the sites and provide your personal identifiable information on those sites. The company is not responsible for the privacy practices of such Web sites which it does not own, manage or control.

The company may automatically track certain information about you based upon your behaviour on the Site and its Social Media Accounts like Facebook, Facebook Page , Twitter etc. The company uses this information to do internal research on its users' demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand, protect and serve you. This information is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on the Site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on the Site or not), your computer browser information, your IP address, and other information associated with your interaction with the Site. The company also collects and stores personal information provided by you from time to time on the Site and its Social Media Accounts. The company does not rent, sell or share your personal information and will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information to third parties.

It only collects and uses such information from you that the company considers necessary for achieving a seamless, efficient and safe experience, customized to your needs including:

To comply with applicable laws; In addition e-Home Service may use this information to help investigate, prevent or take action regarding unlawful and illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threat to the safety or security of any person, violations of the Site’s terms of use or to defend against legal claims; special circumstances such as compliance with subpoenas, court orders, requests/order from legal authorities or law enforcement agencies requiring such disclosure.

To provide you with the information on promotional offers on products and services offered by the company or its affiliates / associates, that the company believes would be of interest to you.

Further, you (Service Consumers and Service Providers) may provide payment related financial information (credit card, debit card, bank account details, UPI details, billing address etc.) on the Website/App (in Later versions of eHome Service app). EHS is committed to safekeeping of all such sensitive data/information at all times. It ensures that such data/information is only divulged to secure sites of approved payment gateways, which are not only digitally encrypted, but also provide the highest possible care available under the present technology. The Company will not use your financial information for any purpose other than to complete a transaction with you.

The company and the site use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Site to help analyse the web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. "Cookies" are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing our services. The site offers certain features that are only available through the use of a "cookie". It also allows you to enter your password less frequently during a session. Most cookies are "session cookies”, and they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits.

Additionally, you may encounter "cookies" or other similar devices on certain pages of the Site that are placed by third parties. EHS does not control the use of cookies by third parties.

Choices Available Regarding Collection, Use and Distribution of Information

To the extent possible, the company provides you with the option of not divulging any specific information that you wish for us not to collect, store or use. You may also choose not to use a particular service or feature on the Site/App, and opt out of any non-essential communications from the Company.

Further, Use of Mobile phones and transacting over the internet has inherent risks which can only be avoided by you by following safe practices yourself viz. use of licensed software and applications, use of well-recognized and established anti-virus software, not revealing your account/login related information to any other person and informing our customer care team about any suspicious activity on your account

To protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under its control, the company has in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures.

Although the Company endeavours to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. By using the Site, you agree that the Company will have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission and/or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Please note that e-Home Service does not ask you to share any sensitive data or information via email or telephone. If you receive any such request by email or telephone, please do not respond and report the same to customercare@ehomeservice.co.in for necessary action. You may report a breach of the Privacy Policy also to the same mail id.

But in case of Registration of Service Providers through Offline Survey Forms, the company will verify your Personal Information (like Name, Date of Birth, Address, Occupation/ Service Provided etc) only through its Official Customer Care Numbers, just for the verification of any Service Provider. Even then also e-Home Service does not ask you to share any sensitive data or information related to Financial Transaction, Bank Account, Credit / Debit Card details.

eHomeService does not edit, modify, alter, add or supplement the information, description and other specifications provided by the Service Provider. But some images may be cropped / enlarged to look good on Website or App. eHomeService may edit, modify, alter, add or supplement the information, description and other specifications provided by the Service Provider on his prior request by email, SMS, WhatsApp message, Phone Call etc.
